+ CAN I PURCHASE PRODUCTS DIRECT FROM COLONNA BROTHERS?
Yes! We only sell our products per case and you are responsible for shipping and handling. Shipping is calculated by the weight of the case through the UPS system. You can contact us through our Contact us page with what you are interested in purchasing along with your shipping address. Our cases come with 12 bottles/cans of your desired product, limiting one product/flavor per case. Please make sure to provide your shipping location so we can send you the shipping fees. We accpet payments through PayPal, checks, or money orders.
+ IS YOUR FACILITY NUT-FREE?
Yes! We are a peanut and tree nut free facility!
+ ARE THERE ANY ANIMAL BI-PRODUCTS IN YOUR FOOD?
No! The enzymes are microbial (produce in a lab)
+ WHAT IS CELLULOSE?
Cellulose which has been around for decades, is a natural, safe and known additive in cheese products for the purpose of non-clumping in the manufacturing process. Cellulose is also used and/or found in a wide number of other foods, fruits and vegetables (even organic ones).
Colonna adheres to the food standards and food labeling requirements under the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and if the FDA and/or the CFR issue any changes to the current standards, we will follow these rules immediately.
+ ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TRANS-FAT FREE?

+ WHAT IS TRANS-FAT FREE?
Trans fat are “transitional fats” between saturated and unsaturated, and can be present in hydrogenated oils and also, to a much smaller degree, in animal products such as meat and dairy products.
+ WHICH OF YOUR PRODUCTS IS GLUTEN FREE?
Grated cheeses, shredded cheeses, sauce, artichokes, peppers, pepperoncini, sprinkles, and all spices. We also offer Gluten Free Bread Crumbs through our Michelle Farms brand.
+ SHOULD YOU REFRIGERATE YOUR CHEESE AFTER OPENING?
Colonna decided to place “Refrigerate after purchasing “due to the temperature variance from the time it leaves our facility until the item is in the possession of a consumer.
We recommend keeping it refrigerated at home, otherwise the temperature variances may affect the quality of the product therefore it should only be left out no more than two hours.
+ ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED?
Yes, all of our products are tested to ensure quality, safety, and taste.
+ HOW DO I KNOW IF A PRODUCT CONTAINS ALLERGENS?
Allergens will be listed on the ingredient statement even if it appears in small quantities. We do purchase certain ingredients such as flavors and spices from suppliers, and they are required to comply with the same standards pertaining to labeling of allergens.
+ WHAT DOES IT MEAN BY "PARTIALLY PRODUCED WITH GENETIC ENGINEERING?"
North American agriculture has widely adopted the use of biotechnology. As a result, as much as 70 percent of products on store shelves in the U.S. today are grown from genetically modified seeds. The broad global consensus among food and safety regulatory bodies is that approved, genetically modified ingredients are safe. This gives us confidence to use them in products that we share with our own families and yours.
We are committed to transparency about the ingredients we choose to make our foods. We have voluntarily disclosed the presence of bioengineered ingredients (GMOs) on our packages.
+ IS THERE PLASTIC IN MY PEPPERONCINI?
The plastic piece you found inside of the pepperoncini is supposed to be there. It is a separator used for quality reasons to ensure that the pepperoncini is preserved in its original brine. It also enables easy closing of the cap as well as maintaining the color of the product.
+ WHAT DO I DO IF MY PRODUCT(S) PACKAGING IS DAMAGED?
Colonna Brothers, Inc. does not recommend that you continue to use a product with damaged packaging. We suggest returning the product from where it was purchased.
+ WHAT IS A UPC?
The Universal Product Code symbol is the bar code that is printed on the package, with several thick, black vertical lines and a group of numbers printed underneath. It is used as an inventory control for both the manufacturer and the store.

The expiration or “use by” date on a food product is the date before which the manufacturer recommends the product be used or stored to ensure the quality and consistency
+ WHY CAN'T I FIND A SPECIFIC PRODUCT AT MY LOCAL GROCERY STORE?
We do not have any control over the inventory your retailer chooses to carry. Our sales representative can make suggestions, but the retailer makes the final decision as to what products they will sell. As a consumer, feel free to contact the manager of the store where you shop to inform them of your interest in Colonna Products. Another reason could also be: the product may not be available in your area due to limited distribution. Otherwise, you can find our products at Kroger, Harris Teeter, Trader Joes, Dollar Tree, Price Rite, ShopRite, Dollar General and plenty more!

Following sauce items that are Kosher: Marinara, Low Sodium Marinara, Traditional, Tomato Basil, Roasted Garlic, Garlic and Onion, and Vodka. The Meat Flavored sauce is not Kosher.
